Our Location
Lake Placid recently won the "Florida small town of the year award". We are located in Highlands County in central South Florida and is one of the area’s best keep secrets. It is over 3,300 acres and up to 56 feet deep. It is a spring feed, crystal clear lake with white sandy beaches and cool breezes. Although a common place for Bass tournaments, it’s also known for its large and tasty Speckled Perch, Blue Bream and Shell Cracker. The town of Lake Placid is known for its Caladium and Arts and Crafts Festivals each year. This sleepy little town of around 5,000 supports the citrus and caladium industries.
